(a) To take note of the Memorandum by

the Chief of the Air Staff regarding

the provision of aircraft in China

(Paper C.P.23(27));

(e) That the Cabinet should hold them-

selves in readiness for an emergency

meeting if and when the Secretary of

State for Foreign Affairs considers it

necessary.
